Aether Studio / Public web beta

Your next world
starts here.

Build a landscape. Shape an object. Bring a scene to life. Explore Aether’s terrain, modeling and game authoring tools in one workspace.

One studio, four ways to create

From first shape
to a world of your own.

Start in the browser and keep your project as a portable JSON file. The desktop build adds the native engine and exact CAD tools.

01 / TERRAIN

Make room for discovery.

Generate terrain from recipes, sculpt the surface and explore lighting and materials. Export a heightfield or scene mesh.

02 / MODELING

Give your ideas form.

Create mesh primitives and editable curves. Apply modifiers, tune materials and export GLB or OBJ assets. Exact CAD lives in the desktop runtime.

03 / GAME AUTHORING

Set your scene in motion.

Arrange objects, animate transforms and try a local logic preview. Native gameplay, packaged builds and the featured game examples run on desktop.

Beta software is still evolving. Browser scene export does not include water, atmosphere or timeline animation. Exact CAD evaluation and native game builds are not part of the browser beta.

Learn Aether

A first project, in a few steps.

A few things to know.

Is the web beta free to try?

Yes. Open the workspace directly without signing in. Aether runs the shared editor in your browser; a desktop browser with WebGL enabled is recommended.

Where are my projects saved?

Save writes to this browser on this device. It does not upload your work to an account. Export project JSON regularly for a portable backup; clearing browser data can remove local projects.

Can I download Aether?

Windows and Ubuntu Linux installers are available with a free account. Install the complete desktop beta, or try the web workspace without signing in. macOS is not yet available.

Are these images generated concept art?

No. These are captures of Aether development builds and exported viewers. The showcase ledger labels full screenshots and viewport crops. Software rendering was used during capture; these images are not a performance benchmark.
